I had told myself to keep off youtube. But I can't help it. I read all the comments on the youtube rips of Gyakuten from Nico Nico.

I'm checking the QR site every day hoping that stage photos will be out soon. Also I'm still waiting on my club for club pictures of Eriko as Edgeworth. Also raku digest..... X3~

The site gets so rarely updated with new pictures T_____T I still don't think they've posted the Paradise Prince pictures from Tokyo. I think the best source would be your wifey. And I hear that BeruBara pictures are out, so I imagine that Gyakuten won't be far behind.

But, we have our standards for a reason.　I am trying to accept the fact this show is going to be circulated, but it really pains me. The only way I'd accept subs is if someone just made sub files, instead of ripping the show and adding subs. Otherwise I am not touching it. I'd rather use my limited Japanese to pick through it. Subs are a luxury for non-Japanese speaking Takarazuka fans.I'll admit, I wouldn't mind seeing a translated script simply because I fear the amount of legalese in this show. But as someone who will hopefully be doling out a lot of money for this show, the idea of it

Since that weird woman named Kori Hikaru showed up and asked me whether I could translate Datenshi no Namida for her (you know, the one who made that post in the community about that she wants to create her own Takarazuka in Germany), I am kind of scared to continue translating the thing.

Eriko really has been well-received! (By both females and males!) I 've yet to hear a peep of complaint about her, just lots of drooling and swooning and questioning of sexualities.

yeah I accidentally stumbled across them a little while back.... I am not a fan of moving icons but yay!

I'm proud of her. Although I often have to fight back my jealousy demon ;) even if swooning is the appropriate reaction to Eriko ;)

I think it's interesting that people have been getting upset over the one or two negative opinions, when so many NON-zuka fans are saying really, really nice things. When I look at the comments on posts to things you and Julie and I think Kyo have posted, I see comment after comment showing how excited people are and how they love it, even when they thought they wouldn't, and only one or two that are negative. That is actually waaaaay better than I would have expected, and is such a compliment to the show and "our" girls. Takarazuka is not exactly an easy thing for the average gamer to comprehend. ;)

As for the fansubs... I'm sure they're thinking more along the lines of what's standard in anime fandom, which is fansubs of commercial releases. We can't really expect them to understand differently when they know nothing about how zuka fandom works. :)

You are right, which is why I'm just stopping holding them to our standards. Its going to happen regardless of whether or not they want to understand.

I am proud of all the girls for their hard work and for being so well received. But, its like having a kid in which you don't wanna hear anything bad about them.

Yet, I've stewed long enough that frankly I'm just going to be happy that everyone was well received and that this show is doing so well. I'm just going to turn a blind eye to the fansubs.

I totally understand the feeling, as I get intensely protective whenever anyone suggests anything Touko does is less than stellar. ;)

You should definitely be very proud. :)
