hahaha, so...more than half a year later I try and finish this. Part of my new years resolution was to finish what I started and well.. um... just ignore me xD;
Ku-chan dropped me off at the station and arrived in Tokyo around 8am. I spent my extra two hours wandering Tokyo station trying to find a place to buy a gift bag that wasn't Anime or Hello Kitty themed. It was Tokyo Station... you would think this would be easy. Either I missed some vital part or there wasn't a sort of stationary place in there. But, I did find a cute little place to have breakfast. Eventually, I remembered that most stores would offer some sort of gift wrapping. I went into what seemed to be an all purpose store and bought some headphones (which I needed anyways). The cashier lady then offered me a gift wrapping choice of blue or pink. I grinned and went with pink.
About 10:30, I got onto the train towards Nippon Seinenkan. I was such in a rush to get to the ticket counter that I cut around the back of the theater and went through the lot where iri/de usually was. I startled a group of ladies into half crouching which in turn startled me. Photographer Lady was there and informed me that I was walking so fast that probably though I was either Natsuki Mizu or Mizu staff. Cue me looking perplexed/excited. I was sorely tempted to stick around to see Mizu go in, but I was already running late.
I picked up my ticket at the door and then met up with Steph and Sam. We grabbed some food from the combini nearby and sat in the park till it was time to go inside. They also filled me in on the amazingness of raku iri (T_T). On the way in, Chigi staff handed everyone a thin gree glow stick, which I presumed was to be used at the end during speeches. I felt mildly bad for the lady that ended up sitting next to me. She was trapped between foreigners. The twins had the seats one down from mine on the left side haha. We also seemed to have landed in the midst of Chigi club as the majority of the people there were looking through their raku goodies bag, which included this amazing Nijinsky clear file. *jealous* Just as Photographer lady said, Mizu snuck in right before the lights dimmed to a round of enthusiastic applause.
The performance was amazing. Everyone put 140% into their roles. Also somehow they managed to sneak in adlibs. Actually, Kitarou managed to sneak in adlibs and the ensemble managed a promo adlib for How to Succeed. I cried for most of the show. I didn't think I could feel much for this show than I already did.
I wish I remembered the speeches better. I just remember Chigi crying and a million and one curtain calls. Also, Chigi managed to single Mizu out which got a large round of applause and laughter. Oh and yes there was a very enthusiasic "yukigumi banzai!" from the cast complete with Chigi jumping up and down. I didn't want it to be over. Alas it did.
The twins and I took our places for demachi. I managed to secure very good spot right behind H-chan's club staff. C-san was there and recognized me. We chatted for a bit and she practically snatched the gift I had and had staff take care of it. I got introduced to the club president and she was super cute trying to talk to me in English. She couldn't even manage a "how are you?" without asking everyone else for help, haha. But, we were interrupted by Mizu coming out. O-san was not facing the doorway so she had to be pulled down into a crouch by another staff lady. Mizu looked lovely and bewildered that people erupted into cheers as she walked out. Not like she was a former top star or anything.
C-san and I continued to chat as stars came out. Eventually the main girls came out. Kitarou was super cute with her club. They gave her an album with a photo of Sergei and Nijinsky on the couch in a heart frame on the front. She screeched in embarrassment, opened the album then closed it. Then she opened it back up to show Chigi club behind her. The club whooped and whistled in response. After she left, Kingu also showed up and received a gift from her club, then took forever and a day talking to her fans. It was cute. Finally, Chigi came out and club gifted her a teddy bear dressed up in the Golden Slave costume and a huge blue card with a rainbow and the words NijinSky on it. Haha I see what you did there Chigi club. Chigi was beside herself with happiness and gave a very heartfelt speech to everyone there and waved to everyone on her way out. Then we could leave.
Steph, Sam and I then went to Hibiya to shop in TakaAn and QR and then get dinner. I ended up buying shoes in Chanter and left with a bunch of things from TakaAn. We got dinner from a combini and then ate inside these... large metal boxes that had seating and tables inside them <=
We left once it got dark and rode together until their transfer point and said goodbye to the twins. I rode all the way to Tokyo station and got on a late shinkansen to Utsunomiya. Ku-chan was waiting for me when I got in and she made us okonomiyaki for dinner *__* Then I went to bed early because the next day I would be meeting up with rudel_species for Mitsuko!
