And to think I was just a few feet, (inches at times) away from the notebook that holds this story.
You know it was torture, you could see it in my eyes right? LOL!
As much as I would have loved to have a sneak peek, it was still worth the wait to see this.

You mean poor Dean's gotta fight this guy blind? Awww, man. I'm so excited to read that, using his senses to get him through.
And Daddy Winchester....You guy gotta ease up on your kid, he's blind for goodness sake. (Look at me talking to characters, that's healthy)
Great job once again.

*snickers*

I did realize it was mean. And I could let you see it (all my friends get to see fics as I'm working on 'em) -- I'm having so much trouble with the sequel, I'm tempted to let you; you DID keep talking about your amazing brainstorming skills. ;)

Hehehe. It is a fun trip for Dean, that is, in the "this is horrible and I have to kill another person?!" kind of way.

My brain storming is here for you. I want to use my powers for good! ;)
Oh and no worries you were mean in a totally good way. It's like Christmas, I'm even more excited when I can finally open the packages. Although a spoiler now and then is good

*grins* Wooo! Powers for good and not evil's SO the way to go.

Actually, I'm having problems starting it, since I have the original beginning, the one I wrote yesterday, and a random scene that might work. *sigh* I'm thinking this series will have a missing scene, as I'll have to scrap one of those three I mentioned.

Heeee. Email me; I'll give you a spoiler!

Aw man, that's one hell of a bargain. ::sigh:: Poor Dean, and John, for finding all of this out. Not just the fae part, but the Sam parts as well. I'm on the edge of my seat wondering how Dean will work this deal, because -- yeah, blind, although I suspect he'll be able to see the person he's tracking. I wonder, though, who that person IS. *gulp*

Marvelous, as always -- looking forward to more! *glomps*

Awww. Your icon's SO Dean's face during THIS part of the story. Poor guy, right?

I think it's more of it being a person than who they are. And what Dean has to give up to do what needs to be done.

:)

I look forward to seeing this updated and you didn't disppoint.

Poor Dean makes the only bargain he feels he can to get his sight back and John isn't backing him. Dean's blind and get little support just knocks about what he's done.

I hope John realises that Dean needs his help in the next chapter.

I know John has been stunned by the revelation that these 'gifts' have been bestowed due to his background, but he needs to get his head back in the game for Dean's sake.

Hi, I reviewed, very briefly, the last chp at ffnet, cymraes, over there. I hope you don't mind a comment here instead?

I very much enjoyed this chp. I love layered fic like yours. There is nothing simple or straightforward, here. Shades of grey, indeed, challenging all John's prejudices, 'none so blind as those who will not see...'
Anger in general; he totes it around close to his heart next to revenge and those lingering tendrils of love left from the last time he felt Mary.
This struck me as particularly apposite.

Nope. *g* I like LJ much better -- it's easier for me to reply to comments and such, which I love doing.

Thanks a bunch! That's part of what I've been trying to convey through this story, so to hear that someone's seen it makes me happy. :)
