Because they don't know it exists? I did a Wiki search and it appeared nowhere, and then I googled the term and it wasn't explained anywhere that I could see... what is it?

That is because I fail at spelling >>;

It's more commonly seen as Monolatry but what I was failing to write was monolatrism.

It's basically saying "well there could be (or there /are/) a bunch of other gods, but you should only pay attention to /this one/" like in the old testament, for example :P Another form of it would be Kemetic worship (Egypt) wherein the twist isn't that you should only worship this one entity, but that all the Netjer are merely facets of an overall entity that, in being worshiped separately is worshiped in its entirety. (Which is technically between henotheism and monolatrism, but typically categorized under polytheism which is just flat out wrong. :/)
