Query About Selling Stuff.

So, in the multitude of my old stuff that I recently went through, there's quite a bit of stuff that I no longer want, but it isn't just trash. I just...don't want it anymore. Naturally, the first option that popped in my head was Ebay; but then while pondering the headaches of creating all of those listings and the multitudinous errors that ( Read more... )

Honestly? I donate that kind of thing to Goodwill. Unless it's something particularly valuable, where it'll be worth the hassle of selling, I'd rather just get rid of it with a minimum of fuss and bother.

I've done that with a good majority of stuff I no longer wanted in the past (mostly clothing), but the sad fact is that I could really use the money. :\ It's possible I might be laid off from one of my jobs come the new year, and if I can get even a little bit from this it would help. :(

Yikes. That sucks. :( Well, I've had nothing but trouble with cragislist. Personally I'd go with ebay. I mean actually I have the best luck with furbid and pkmcollectors, but, uh... unless you have furry stuff or pokemon toys, probably those won't work for you. :D

I have a couple Pokemon toys that I don't really have the space to keep around, so I might look into that one. Two old pokedexes, some collector coins, a whole lotta cards, and a keychain or two. >.>

There were a couple things I was actually going to ask you if you wanted before I made them available to the internets at large, since I've noted your endeavors in collecting. No Pokedolls, but a plush Pikachu keychain that makes sounds and perhaps some of the cards. ^^;

I've generally had good experiences with Craigslist, but I suppose it probably depends on where you are (Bay Area for me) and maybe what you're selling too.

I've never actually bought or sold anything there myself, but I've heard horror-stories here and there.

Also, the ex used to claim that he only 'trolled' the personal ads to "put up the idiots' pics on 4chan"('...' worthy in its own right), but I am inclined to not believe that was all he did with them.

Oh, well, the personals is an entirely different matter. I stick to the for-sale section.
