Auuugh. What a couple of weeks, honestly. The Tom Swift book came last week, and I read it yesterday/today. I got the idea by the second chapter, when someone was described as a "loyal American." Also, I have a Rick Brant book, The Rocket's Shadow, which is ridiculously similar in plot.
I'm looking at Etiquette Hell right now. Mega addictive.
Also, the bird is in the pot! And it smells really, really good.

Ha, Tom Swift is SO cold war. The villains are always vaguely Slavic, or sometimes "slanty-eyed." Completely ludicrous. Of course, he also has a flying invisible space lab. And a rocket ship, and an "atomic earth blaster."

Yay Turkey! I am very excited about my pie/custard combo as well. Mmm.
