Not every library is as dysfunctional as your last one, nor is every boss as nasty as your last one. Give it a chance. :)

Oh. It's not because of my experiences at the library so much as I don't want to work at a library again.

Also, I just got a spam Direct Message from your Alec Troven Twitter account. It was that "someone is saying terrible things about you" message, the link apparently has a virus that's going around on Twitter and FB. You'll want to do a full antivirus scan and change your passwords.

Oh! It's more like I don't think library work is my thing. Not that I'm worried that the library will be the same as the old one.

Good old BHPL ... Maybe I'll stop by sometime if you get the job and say hello in the flesh. Good luck, and don't let previous work environments, especially when they're so tainted with problems based on those who work in them as opposed to just the place itself (being unsafe, etc.) worry you too much. It's a big, nice place - can't ask for much more in a Public Library (at least from what I remember many years ago).

I'm sure it is very nice! I just don't want to work in a library in general. I fell into it by accident but it's not what I really want to do.

And saying hello is never a bad thing.
