Ooh, I'd read that and I love to see what worlds you would choose. Alec is one of the most interesting characters that I've seen since he's just complicated and all sorts of himself.
Oh and if your friend ever happens to be around, I could always set up an OOM shaped thing for other times Abhorsens to try and make him actually talk about stuff.
But the sort of "picture" that started this bunny was of a government scientist about to start a Very Dangerous Experiment involving a nuclear reactor type thing when it has to be stopped. Why? an intruder. Who turns out to be Alec who is standing by some sensitive part with a screwdriver in his hand and a sheepish look on his face.
Oh, and I shall speak to friend, as I'm assuming Slow times is okay?
