It's by Dorianne Laux [allegedly]. One of my best friends pointed me towards it several years ago and i ran acrosst it randomly in my archives.

Last few lines remind me of something out of Neuromancer. It just gives that Gibson-vibe... With a bit of Dick mixed in.
