Honestly, I spent my last two gencons not playing in a single game, and I think I had more fun at them than I did the two I had previously gone to (This was years ago. I was still in high school, and gencon was still in Milwaukee). I wandered around, spent more money than anyone that age should even have the will to save, and played the Highlander card game with whoever happened by, and that was about it.

Well, I certainly enjoyed spending the last few gencons that way, but this year I wanted to do more, and I'm glad I did. I was worried that we'd overscheduled and wouldn't have enough unstructured wondering around time, but cancelled events helped with that. *snicker*
