Memorial Day Weekend

May 30, 2006 10:24

I’ve been at work since 2 AM. I’m usually here from 1:30 to 10 PM, but someone needed the morning off, so I agreed to trade with them. I’m not as much of a zombie as I usually am when I work this shift, but I am still pretty tired. Luckily, I get to get out of here soon ( Read more... )

Finding a wide screen version of Serenity was very, very difficult. If I wasn't preternaturally far sighted and hadn't seen the last copy on a bottom shelf, we would have settled for full screen. Easter Egg: There's a short documentary on the DVD about the subliminal message cartoon that triggers River. To get to it, put the cursor on play on the main screen. From there, push the left button once. Now the cursor will be on the right side of the screen in the middle (up and down). Press enter.

Vivaldi, huh? I like the cut o'your jib, matey.

i had to comment. i just saw serenity for the first time yesterday. i have to actually watch firefly now though because i was a virgin to the whole cancelled series/major motion picture joss whedon phenomenon, but i enjoyed the film nonetheless ... once my boyfriend filled me in on some backstory, of course. either way, glad you had a good memorial day weekend all in all.

I definitely had a good weekend, and I'm glad you enjoyed Serenity even without having watched Firefly. B^)

Indeed it does. With my schedule, I appreciate all late-night eateries...

They lied about a midnight showing of X3? Them bastards! How dare they!

The audacity of 'em. *sigh* Theatres just cannot be trusted so easily, can they? At least you got some time to hang with some of your friends for a while... though I can imagine the dissapointment in the air. From a big group of people... ouch. But I digress. You had the company of friends, and that is what matters most. Good to see that some good came out of the theatre's screw up.
