I usually don't post these kind of comments on here you know that kin but... I'm just wondering why is it that the esteemed film critics over at TNYT and TLAT couldn't even acknowledge Mr. Harold's talent and contribution his to this movie?...
I really can't understand this. I mean he had a couple of scenes there but he did an amazing job so... not even one sentence about it?

Thanks for posting these. It is quite disappointing. Even though he was used as a plot device, I think he was a really important one.

I'm pretty tired of him never being mentioned. He's the only reason I went to see this movie. I was getting worried at first that he was just going to be a disembodied voice but then I remembered the trailer that he was in. I agree that it isn't anything to brag about. It isn't terrible but it's a bit of a snooze fest in parts. Things became so much more interesting when he showed up and added some bitterness and frustration to this seemingly rather one note story.

However, I did enjoy seeing him in something new and he was, as always, superb in his performance.

Yeah, If not for Gale, it's definitely not a movie I would have seen on my own.

Hey kin, I just noticed you added a new link to another review. I noticed it's from The Village Voice so I was kinda hoping they might mention Gale but Alas even that long running famed left-of-center publication (or should I say it's online version ) failed to even mention Gale's brilliant role as the 'former BF' *Le Sigh*
I really can't understand this.

I actually agree with you. The show sucked and his 'on screen love interest' seemed really lukewarm but the character of this Julian fella really was rather interesting and as always GH commended every scene he was in. I still think that after HC got canceled Gale deserved to get a whole spin off based on this role minus the whole HC set up. Oh well...

For as cringeworthy the show was for the most part, it would have been great to make a drama series out of his character. *hugs*
