My brain does the happy dance when I see you've updated this story. I keep your site bookmarked and check it regularly; today viola ! I am rewarded. What I appreciate about this chapter - aside from it's existence - is Ken's darker voice. Your other stories do so well with his humor that this part of his psyche is completely unexpected; especially when he exhibits enough insight to pity Aya [who is, indeed, a nuclear meltdown in full throttle - nice metaphor]. For a fan of your writing - such as myself - it's interesting to watch the same characters and basic story line [Aya's a pretty mess, Yoji leads with his dick, etc] spun off into a different and more complex incarnation. Thank you !

Wow, that's so nice to hear. I don't think very many people are following this story (and it seems to be the only thing I'm writing at the moment), so it's extra-especially nice.

I've been waiting a while to bring Ken in; I have some plans for him.

I really love all the WK fanfic tropes, and I often make it a bit of an exercise to spin this one or that. Everyone needs a hobby, I guess.

The annoying thing is that I had that chapter written about two months ago. The posting thing... it seems to fall in the same category of my brain as cleaning or grocery shopping. Although no one leaves me nice comments when I do the cleaning or the grocery shopping.
