I haven't read weiss in a couple of years, and this was perfect to get me back in the mood for it. Come to think of it, I never finished reading 'you're joking, right?'

my favorite line from this:

"What, you're conscious? What the hell do you need us for?" Ken called out cheerfully. "Slacker."

there were so many great lines, but that just made me laugh. :D

There hasn't been a whole lot of Weiss to read lately; I've gotten out of the habit myself. I still love them, though. And hey, I urge you to finish Joking! Although I warn you that lot of people didn't like the ending. I thought it was pretty optimistic, for that story, and that it suited, but you'll have that sort of thing. There isn't as much Farfarello toward the end either, I fear.

This story makes me ridiculously happy. I have read it twice already, and I'm going to read it again a third time, because it is my birthday!

There's so many good lines in it. The setup with Aya wounded, and Yohji killing people to get to him (and popping the head clear off--I could just see it), and then Yohji watching over Aya, and then helping him out and offering comfort and just asking him things, and then the happy happy sex.

It's good to have birthdays! Especially when they bring stories like this. Thank you!!

ARGH! A two-parter! *mashes keyboard* Thankfully where you left off isn't too bad and could almost stand on its own. I'm in love with this already and can't wait for the second half.

I'm interested in seeing what happens once Aya sobers up from the drugs, but what a perfect way for them to initiate an actual conversations since Aya's defenses were down.

Well, it's definitely AN important thing.

I could just see Aya getting really, really sick of hearing Ken talk about soccer. Trying to tune it out and not always succeeding, and getting that tense around the eyes and mouth look. Possibly plotting ways to make his shut up. Permanent ways.
