Gluey Tart: I don't remember what the hell I wrote about

Howdy, all! After a multi-week delay that NOBODY NOTICED, I have finally posted another Gluey Tart column over at The Hooded Utilitarian. And I don't remember what it's about... Oh, yeah, there it is in the html coding. Lovers and Souls. That's kind of funny and ironic and stuff, for reasons you'll understand if you read the column. And then, oh ( Read more... )

Well, it sounds like the kind of book that is interesting enough, but maybe not the best ever read. If I lived down the block from you I might borrow it, hold on to it for nine months, then in a fit of cleaning / guilt read it all in one sitting then return it to you.

BTW, two things I'd like to get your response to: (1) there's a part two to Yellow, which will eventually get published by Juné and (2) someone recced Uki Ogasawara. A good number of my flist doesn't do dubcon / noncon, but I'm up for it - so, yes? no?

And I noticed you were gone. Sort of. But my brain doesn't work so well these days either.

I didn't know there was more Yellow coming out. I like Yellow. Not as much as Fake, but in the way I liked Fake. I can't help thinking of it as Fake-Lite. That's OK, though. Anything that reminds me of Fake is all good.

The only Uki Ogasawara I've read is Black Sun. Definitely dubcon; it's set up as noncon, but it's one of those "he says no, but he just didn't know that what he really wanted was to be taken" things. It has plenty of sex, and none of that ghost penis stuff, either. The plot is absurd, but it was fun. I thought. Maybe I'll review that next for Gluey Tart...
