oh. my.

I only really knew him from comment in your groups.

I'm sorry, Keith.

Here's hoping Valhalla has a nightly (and sprightly) literary debating circle!

*hugs*

Wow A favorite H-HP author and last week a good Evangelion Friend/Fan fiction writer also passed away. Dale Carlson also known as 94Saturn wrote some wonderful stories and I had just gotten him to the HP FF reality when his Diabetes finally got to him.

They will Both be missed!

Damn.

Fenris was one of the first H/Hr authors I came across; part of the reason that I converted to that 'ship' after my initial foray into the fandom. His 'Beserk' is still one of my favourite stories ... whenever I re-read it I remember how I felt way back then, the first time I picked it up, when the whole HP thing was still so new, and the idea of barracking for H/Hr so exciting.

He hadn't published on Portkey for a while, but I was always hoping that a notice of an update to Intervention or a new story might pop up in my IN box. I'd noticed the occasional post from him in various Yahoo groups the past few years.

He and his stories were part of my early impressions of the HP fandom - certainly part of what engaged me so much about H/Hr - and I'll miss him too.

I'm sorry to hear that, Keith. I've read some of his work over the last couple of years, and I always enjoyed it.

May he find joy in his new home.
