Sorry for the sad feelings, good to see you blogging, and what did you think of DoFP? I enjoyed it, but a considerable part of that was salivating over the fellas, which isn't really a Thing for you, so.
No complaints about how Jennifer Lawrence comports herself, as a total sexy naked badass the whole way through, but I enjoyed it for the most part as a story about deciding whether or not you compromise your fervid idealism for the sake of a bigger picture. And while I love Beast and Wolverine, I do wish that the x-men of 1973 comprised a few more people. Emma Frost even, or a young Dazzler.
Yeah, there is that. I was totally enjoying her too. I have no problem with blue scaly skin and weird eyes.. works for me. :)
Also, not as eye candy or nothing, but ya GOTTA love Quicksilver... not just his action sequences, but his sass... Although, apparently, appreciation of sassy characters, esp teenage ones, is a Thing for me. When I watched the current Spidey movie, I was having a ball with Peter/Spidey's sasstasticness, too. :)
I think the point was that Charles was in a bad place where he'd given up and lost touch with those mutants he had known. But yeah... could have used more.
And what the actual hell was up with the baseball stadium. I mean, really, screenwriters?
