Reminds me of the ultra-creepy tree that has been feeding on the corpse of H. P. Lovecraft, I think it may have died recently.

It may have died, but Lovecraft's creations have a habit of not staying dead. Context is the only thing making it as scary as the tree that KT shows.

The author of that first article is wrong, tho. Kids won't leave it alone. They will dare each other to climb it.

Well, to me it looks like a side-profile of one of Lovecraft's fishmen stretching its arms out to embrace the viewer and drag him down to the bottom of the ocean to dream with the Old Ones.

Meanwhile, the tree in my picture has TEETH! HOW CAN A TREE HAVE TEETH??!? WE'RE DOOOOOOMED!!!!!! Unless Pinkie's laughter works.
