So I'm homeless again. My brother is kicking me out due to a midlife crisis and his alcoholism. I don't make much money at my part time job and can't afford any of the housing in the area. I have applied at the local low income housing, but there's so many applications that I highly doubt I'll get picked. I can probably pay $300-$400 in rent a

Don't they have a bulletin board at school hon. Maybe someone is looking for roommates or something? How about asking a Guidance Councillor at school?

I'm going to try when school starts but I figure if they needed a roommate it'd be posted on craigslist. I doubt anyone has a room for $300-$400.

No college bulletin boards in the student union? You may find something there?

I don't often see anyone posting things on bulletin boards at school, at least for rooms. Besides the area is expensive even for rooms for rent.

Life is hard... and then you die :) What is SoCal? Praise Lord you are not living in Africa. You got food banks and shelters as I know. But this your post is very impressing for sure. Hugs.
