I think I’m going to have to save that $20 for gas, luckily next week is Spring Break so I won’t have to drive anywhere. lol, I think once I get some sleep tonight I feel better, but it tough, having ( Read more... )

:Hugs: Money issues suck, and being reliant on student loans that only come through one or twice a year is frustrating.

Well, now that I have this job, though it's only two days a week. I'm hoping eventually I'll have some more money. But that's like getting paid once a month or something, I'm not sure how they do it. Maybe it's twice a month. But this job is really crappy, it's worse then Walmart, the customers are jerks because they're rich people.

The government also believes that a person with an auto immune disease(who literally cannot survive without their medicine) and has no job shouldn't receive free health insurance :/.

Ugh, that sucks. From what I've heard from people I've talked to (who very much needed food stamps but couldn't get them), the system isn't very friendly to single people who need assistance. It's easier to get food stamps if you have a kid out of wedlock. That would be a terrible reason to pop out a kid, of course, and it's important that we don't let kids starve in an affluent society like this, but Lord it sometimes feels like nearly all welfare is designed solely for single moms. If you're a student without any rugrats waiting for you at home? I guess they figure that's what ten-cent ramen is for.

:( I'm sorry to hear about what you're dealing with right now. Anyone going to college full time go through a lot and I wish the government realized that. Things (especially food) can be hard to afford. There should be a food stamps program specifically for anyone in college full time.
I hope spring break looks up for you.

I heard there are a lot of charity organizations that provide people in need with some food. Eh?
