So give me Chris thinking Steve is out of his league, that Steve is only passing time until someone better comes along and and if that does happen, Chris will let him go without a fight.
Or even Chris being the 'other one', you know, the one on the side while Steve plays house with someone else.
It doesn't matter what the circumstances are, I need Chris with self-esteem issues. I don't mind what kind of ending I get, I just need angst!

Chris looks up and his eyes immediately land on them - Steve and Rachel, the newest couple.
He feels a pang of something - jealousy, regret - when he sees the arm Steve has wrapped around her, holding her close to his side and the look of pure adoration that accompanies the kiss he gives her.
And then he hears The Voice in his head for the first time: “And all because of you. If you hadn´t introduced them to each other…”

When Steve decided to come down to Argentina with him, to work on some songs in between shooting, Chris had hoped that this meant their fuck-buddy relationship was on its way to something else, something solid, something real.
But then Chris had introduced Steve to Rachel and the two of them had been inseparable ever since.

Christian has no idea how it happened. One second Steve was across the room, a laughing Rachel in his lap, the next he has Chris bend over the workbench in the garage, prepping him with rough strokes. He sees Steve´s hand reach for the condom that he put on the table earlier and The Voice chimes in “I bet he fucks her without a condom. Not scared that he´s gonna catch some filthy disease from her. Hey, maybe they are even trying for a baby. What do you think, has he knocked her up yet? Maybe they´re gonna ask you to be godfather…”
“Steve, please!” Chris begs, hoping that a good fuck is going to make The Voice shut up.
“Always so impatient.” Steve chuckles as he lines himself up and slides into Chris with one fast push. He doesn´t give Chris much time to get used to the feeling of being so full, immediately setting up a hard and fast pace.
“I don´t think he fucks her like that either. Bend over as if you are some stranger he picked up in a bar. No, he lays her out on the bed, on fresh sheets and makes love to her. Worships her ( ... )

Poor, poor Christian, and Steve, you're an (probably unknowing, but still) ass. I love The Voice in his head, you really nail the low self esteem here!
Is it wrong of me to have a bunch of sequels in my head? And a lot of them with more hurt!Christian?

I like it a lot...my brain just thinks it should be wayyyyyy longer, so it entertains itself with ideas how it could be continued...that's all :)
Is that the J2-Kane BB? Wrong pairing for me :(.
