1054 words.

"You know, I don't think this is quite what the fans will think we were going to do with these," Colin said, grinning as he looked over the balcony.

"Well, it's your fault you let them go off," Bradley told him, taking a mushy strawberry from the punnet.

Colin watched him take aim at Katie, who was sat relaxing by the hotel pool with Angel.

"No, wait, double attack!" Colin said, grabbing his own strawberry. "You get Katie, I'll get Angel."

"Deal," Bradley grinned.

With that, they took aim and launched their strawberries at the unsuspecting girls.

They ducked out of the way, hiding as they heard the girls shriek.

"James! Morgan!" Katie yelled, threateningly. "You are going to pay for this."

Colin couldn't help laughing. Bradley was laughing, too, looking as carefree as he ever did.

They both looked at the wall as they heard a 'splat', to see one of the strawberries burst against it. Katie had a surprisingly good aim.

They broke into fresh peals of laughter, and Bradley got up, grabbing Colin's hand and dragging him inside.

"Let's get someone else," Bradley suggested.

"No, no wait, I've got an idea!" Colin said, taking the punnet off Bradley. He quickly detailed it, grinning as he did, and they set off to find the things they'd need.

"Good prank, Cols," Bradley grinned as they headed to his room. "But I think Katie really will try and get us back."

"Well, she shouldn't have made it so easy to get her room key," Colin said. "Besides, we can just pretend we're not in if she comes banging on the door."

They'd spent the last couple of hours artfully hiding the mushy strawberries all over Katie and Angel's rooms. Some weren't exactly hidden, like the ones in the plug holes, or the loo, but it'd take Katie days to realise there was one in each of her draws.

Colin hoped neither Katie nor Angel liked to check between their pillows before they went to sleep. It was childish, but that's what made being an actor, and being on set, such a great thing. They expected to prank each other. So prank they did.

Bradley opened the door to his room, and Colin followed after him. Then, suddenly, there was chaos.

From somewhere above them, something exploded, and they were both covered in water, and feathers.

Bradley started laughing, and Colin would have joined him, had it not been for the sudden sneeze attack he was going through.

"Cols?" Bradley asked, laughing as he took in the sight of his mate soaked through and covered in feathers. "Oh please. You're not allergic to duck down, too, are you?"

Colin just sneezed, as if that was answer enough.

"Right, well then. Go strip off, and grab a shower. That should get rid of them all. I'll find something you can wear, and try to clean up the mess. You know, we could totally throw this back in Katie's face. Tell her you had a really bad reaction. That'd be a lark, yeah?"

Colin kept sneezing, but did as Bradley said. He left his wet clothes outside the bathroom door, and shook off as many feathers as he could in the corner of the bathroom.

Twenty minutes later, a freshly changed Bradley opened the door. Colin turned to look at him, and blushed, knowing Bradley could see everything.

"Got you some clean clothes," Bradley said, leaving them on the toilet seat. He was looking at Colin, and not hiding it, and Colin felt himself twitch.

"Thanks, Bradley," Colin said, turning the water off and reaching for a towel. "You're a good mate. So, we going to make Katie think she's fucked up big time?"

"Yeah," Bradley said, not moving, still looking at Colin.

"Great. I'll just... dry off? Get dressed?"

"Oh, yeah, yeah, of course," Bradley said, starting to move at last. This time, it was Bradley's turn to blush.

Five minutes later, Colin was completely dry and wearing Bradley's clothes. Bradley's too-big-for-Colin clothes.

It felt... nice, actually. And sort of brilliant.

They left Bradley's room together, heading downstairs.

"Oh, it's about time you two screwed and got it over with," Katie's sarcasm greeted them before they even got to the lift.

Colin put on his most pathetic expression, letting his eyes start to water.

"You're an idiot, Katie," Bradley said, blushing. "We haven't screwed yet. Cols just had to use my shower, because some harpy rigged my room to spray something he's allergic to all over him."

"Oh my god, Colin, I'm so sorry," Katie said, immediately turning sympathetic.

Colin didn't care much, though. Bradley had said 'yet' - that definitely suggested he'd be up for it, didn't it?

"Oh don't go doing that," Bradley warned her. "We don't want to talk to you. We're going to get something to eat, whilst Colin tries to figure out how to breathe again."

"You're so melodramatic, Bradley," Katie said, rolling her eyes. "Er, that said... do you want to borrow my room tonight, Cols? You, er... you definitely shouldn't go back to your room. Angel got that one. Had to get spare pillows, actually. God, we should have realised. I'm so sorry."

"It's okay," Colin told her, deliberately pathetic. "And I've still got your room key if you really don't mind."

"You've got my room key?" Katie asked, then barked out laughing. "Right, strawberries in all my drawers, yeah? It's what I'd do. Great minds think alike. I'll go tell Angel to stop waiting outside your room."

Then she was gone, and Bradley was grinning widely at him.

"So, Bradley," Colin began, tentatively.

"Yeah?"

"We haven't screwed... yet."

Colin watched Bradley go through several shades of blush, drawing it out before he kissed him.

"You know what would be the best prank ever?" Colin asked, happy that Bradley definitely wasn't opposed to the whole kissing each other thing. "Making it obvious that we both took up Katie's offer of her room."

"Oh, I like how you think," Bradley said, suddenly smiling wide and happy. He took Colin's hand and lead the way to Katie's room. "We can definitely get rid of that yet."

*

"Ew," Colin squirmed. "What sort of idiot puts a strawberry between someone's pillows? Seriously, Bradley, we have to reconsider our pranks a bit. That's gross."
