A/N: Sherlock fan too? Think I'm actually going to do this one if you don't mind. :3 darn it I have schoolwork to do.
If you haven't watched Reichenbach (or Sherlock season 2, epi. 3 ) don't read since this spoils the end. (Actually it spoils the series past the end of Reichenbach again so ... don't read unless you've read the ACD shorts? )

Merlin sniffled a bit more and continued watching the laptop screen a bit before turning to face Arthur. "It-it's not t-that... it's just. Sherlock and ... John ... a-and it's just so ... heart-"

"-yes, yes, yes, but let's get back to the point where you're crying over the fact that you're crying over a piece of fiction when you know it will end well?" Merlin stopped sniffling a bit to give him a blank stare. "You do realize that, the people you're crying over-" Here he paused a bit to wave in the general direction of the laptop screen (which was now showing a clip of the title character) while his boyfriend stared blankly at it and then back at him. "-they're actors and it's what they do yeah? They're paid to act? Nothing you see on the screen is real and all?" Merlin's lips started twitching into something that could be termed as a wry smile, a warning when he thought back to the incident but something he pointedly ignored in the moment. ( Eh, I'm filling prompts when I should be doing homework, so you're not alone on the possible failing of class. )

Ending up on the couch = good punishment for not comforting Merlin over silly shows the last episode of Sherlock :)

Oh goodness, this rings a bell. Except it was my roommate and me curled up in our chairs weeping like children and my other roommate who tried to get all logical on us. And yes, pillows were thrown. I'm glad to know I'm not alone!
