This is lovely, Anon. Gwaine is playful and seductive but also deadly serious about protecting his charge. This relationship is complicated but the feelings are reciprocated and I'm left thinking Gwaine will wear Arthur down over time. In the meantime he's got a job to do.

Oh, I really loved this. How Gwaine is focused on Arthur for his own sake, and while he does have feelings for him, the most important thing for Gwaine is Arthur himself. Protective!Gwaine is not going to let HotforArthur!Gwaine get in the way, if that makes any sense. ;)

Loved Arthur in this too. How he's clearly reciprocating, but he's not quite ready yet. Absolutely loved the descriptions of Arthur's nervousness and uncertainty manifesting in the perpetual rearrangement of his clothing.

Gwaine will wait. He's never done so before, but Arthur's worth every second. <33333333

Thank you so very much. Yes, that makes perfect sense: Arthur's safety comes before their hypothetic relationship (and just about anything else in Gwaine's life).

I believe Gwaine will wait, too. These boys deserve each other.
