This is amazing, anon. I love Merlin's amusement, and Morgana's awe over Merlin, and Arthur's...well, everything. He is adorable and just how I imagined he would be. My favorite line of dialogue by far is definitely I told you, if this is anything like Harry Potter, we’re going home.

Waits very eagerly (and impatiently because OP is not patient when it comes to great fills) for more.

Oh, thank you! Part two is almost done. Outline for the rest is done, probably 5 or 6 parts total at this stage. It grew somewhat.
I have to do some stuff today involving me leaving my computer (noooooooo!) but I'll be back and caffeinated later.

Merlin had been having an unusually irritating morning. He was slightly hungover after the previous night’s festivities. It had been one of those ritual parties with far too much sacred wine and far too many naked students, writhing and calling down the powers of the gods and painting themselves with blood ( ... )

Later that day, as Arthur parried Lance’s blow with a strike from his sword, he caught his mind drifting to Merlin, the unapologetic bastard. Everyone here seemed to like him though, or at least, they seemed to like being near him. From where he sat at lunch with Morgana, alone at a table against the wall, he could see Merlin’s table, overflowing with extra chairs and people hanging over the shoulders of other people, all trying to get closer to Merlin himself. Close, but not too close. Apart from a boy with brown hair who had leaned over to whisper something in Merlin’s ear with a wide grin, nobody else entered his personal space ( ... )

I love the powers you've given to Lancelot and Percival, and the little moment where the thought him a little silly for wanting to duel Merlin. Nicely done. The part about the ritual made me laugh. It was exactly how I imagined the school to be, really. :)

This is an interesting story. It's nice to see the tables flipped--Merlin is the one everyone knows, and Arthur is the nobody. It even makes sense that Merlin would be a bit arrogant when everyone's falling all over themselves to impress or be near him. I wonder when it's going to sink in for Arthur that he's out of his league power-wise. I get the feeling that he still doesn't understand, even with everyone telling him.

Looking forward to seeing it continued!
