Oooh! Interesting start. =D The part of me that loves reading is a little sad it's so short since you've managed to pack a lot in, in nine paragraphs, but I'll force myself to be patient. =)

Yay! Update! =D.

Again, I have to point out that you write short clips but in a very powerful manner. The use of "slobber" especially. I couldn't help but hate Uther and yet feel so bad for Merlin. (Also a wee bit disgusted, because my imagination decided to give me a lovely image of how that would look and how it might feel...)

=) Can't wait to see how you'll bring Arthur into the fray and if you'll continue to follow the movie or if you'll divulge from it. =D

Maybe Arthur likes to read out loud? Merlin seems to be written as a bookish type a lot, so perhaps Arthur reads something that his mother read once?
