Most of the time a writer is given the original copy of the script to write the novelization from so anything that was changed during filming or editing or whatever will be different. I always think it's interesting to note the differences.
They're here: http://winchesterbros.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=465 . I'll hopefully get to write one. I plan on reading it tonight (or starting to anyway), and I hope they don't release this and then a year later change too much but I like noting differences like that so who knows.
