Ok, everyone! There are 6 days until your rough drafts are due!

Here we go:
What is a rough draft exactly? And how much do you have to finish (which is completely my question when I do these things, lol).
I want 1/2 of your story to be readable prose (a minimum of 6,000 words). Not outline or notes.
If you don't have a complete draft of your entire story, please include an outline of the unwritten scenes to give your artist a fair idea of what they will look like.
On September 15th, please send an email to me at silentflux.livejournal[at]gmail[dot]com. At the top of the body of your email, please include a short summary of your story for the artists. Then attach a copy of your draft document to the email in whatever format you normally use (preferably Word, Open Office, or a text document. I don't think I have Corel on my computer anymore, but I'm sure I could find it if need be)
The artists will choose a story to illustrate based on the summaries which will be anonymous in a later post, so feel free to work that summary for all it's worth! ;)
A summary should look something like this:
Summary: John Cooper thought this would just be a normal day, training his rookie and doing his job. Too bad someone extremely important died and with LAPD Homicide overdrawn, they called in CBI. Patrick Jane is one man that John could have lived without meeting... and escorting when that guy, Cho, foisted the fake psychic on him and Sherman. Great. Just great.
Fandom: Crossover - The Mentalist/Southland
Pairing: Patrick Jane/John Cooper, John Cooper/Ben Sherman
Rating: NC-17 or FRAO
Warnings: slash, anal play, etc (anything that might squick or spoil anyone goes here!)

The artists will choose a story from the summaries that I will post anonymously in the post. Once they've chosen a story, the draft and the writer's email will be forwarded to the artist. They will make art, based on your draft, emailing you with any questions they might have.
NOTE: If you know of any artists interested, please prod them over this way :) I'd appreciate it greatly! I am going to extend the artist sign-ups until after the summaries are up and claimed! Thanks!
