I'm excited about Rocky Balboa. Maybe this is just a signifier of my generation. I don't know any college-age people who are fired up over a 60 year old Rocky. Then again, I don't know anyone who is fired up for this movie.

Truth is, I don't know why I'm excited.

I have to admit, when I heard Stallone was making another, I thought it was pathetic and I wanted it to bomb. It's gotten nothing but praise from the critics and everyone who's seen it so far. I might go see it myself ...
