The first one definitely got the most hours put into it. I still have some ideas on how to finish it properly, but that will have to wait until summer (at the earliest!) because the new semester is starting now and I'm on to something new!
i dig the last one, it's kind of how i am most of the day:) in other news, i was just thinking of you, and it's odd because outside of this, i don't even know you.
Thanks, Bumbaclot!kingneptuneJanuary 9 2009, 17:10:01 UTC
I really like the last one too. Although I wish I could have some more time with the model in that pose to finish the painting properly. Maybe that could be arranged...

"They're pretty, but why can I see everybody's private beauty?"
Tried explaining about how this is an ok forum (being art) to see someone's private beauty, but it's not taking... any ideas?
She really liked the fruit... but by far her favorites are the skeletons. She thinks you draw "Really lot gooder" then most people, and "these look like stuff in the museum". Thought you'd appriciate the ... uh... compliments. (Really lot gooder... can it get any better then that? ^.^ )
Unfortunately? she's still far more impressed that I'm not yelling at you for playing with fire... Ah the sensibilities of a 5 (almost 6) year old.
Well done! Dont forget main rule of colour:if light -warm,shadow - cold/If light = cold, shadow - is worm.In all space of picture!) And second - dont make space around figure so different of figure in colour(dont cut out) Belle insperacione)
