nice fruit, man! i haven't painted fruit since jerome made me copy cezanne upside-down. before that, though, there were lots of peaches... and corn, for some reason. better than that maniac who brought 10 heads of iceberg lettuce into the studio to place around the models...

Thanks! I'd never really painted fruit before, but I figure every painter's gotta try it at least once in life. Luis painted whole BOWLS of fruit.

I just saw some of Cezanne's fruit this past weekend at the MOMA and I couldn't help but picture the canvases upside down. That's some tasty fruit.

I don't think I know the story of the ten heads of lettuce. Sounds intriguing!
