That won't be necessary. I am, after all, titles aside, a new acquaintance and perhaps unwelcome burden.

If it's not too much trouble, however, would you perhaps care to meet with me so as to help me familiarize myself with my surroundings? I shan't be bothering Euphie so late, but it would be helpful to have a general sense of her whereabouts in this place.

[And he leaves the flat, telling no one where he's going. At least meeting Schniezel in person ... if he has to, he can use geass.

So he heads toward the building Schniezel described, and sees the familiar blond hair, the regal robes. He drops to one knee when he's close enough, though Schniezel's back is turned to him.]

Prince Schniezel, it's an honour.

[Schneizel turns around, expression unreadable. To all appearances, there's nothing particularly extraordinary about the boy. Average height, thin, doesn't seem particularly athletic or powerful. But there's something in him that Schneizel recognizes--more than simply intelligence or excellent manners.

He can't place the feeling that they've met somewhere, and Schneizel's not one to easily dismiss his instincts. But he seems harmless enough.

He smiles, and speaks.]

Please, rise. I've no need for such courtesy from one to whom I owe gratitude.

[He obliges, getting to his feet. He wonders if Schniezel will recognise him; no, probably not by his face or hair colour -- after all, the last time they saw one another was when Lelouch was much younger.

But once he gives his name...

Once he gives his name, there is very little chance of Schniezel not realising who he is. Perhaps this may work out in his favour; perhaps not. And if not, he has geass as a last ditch effort.]

[There’s something about the boy’s eyes. They’ve met before, that much is very nearly certain. He’s not so deluded as to fool himself into claiming familiarity with all he’s met, no matter how promising. He lets his gaze linger-perhaps a little too long-interest evident.]
