On Darko, Year 3

Updating my NBA Live 06 rosters- the first step in playing the game at all, as far as I am concerned- I noticed something that, once again, got me to thinking. He should be showing signs of producing even if it won't be up to his career standards. Some people don't mature until later, but that just warrants the questions: Was picking him so young justified? and Is the possible future worth the quality draft picks that were passed over in order to get him? Is having a possible Wayne Gretzky 5 years down the road better than having those 5 years of a Steve Yzerman or Sergei Fedorov? Or in this case 7 years. Those seven building years are a lot of minutes he didn't log that a more mature player could have.
