It is done...

I did it...

Just now...

Like a moment ago...

2:32pm to be precise...

I called... They answered... They agreed to it... It's done...

No HD, no HDDVR, no Digital, no HBO, no 2-900... No more...

Cable and land line phone are gone... Internet only...

My cable bill just went from $140 to $42 a month...

cable, holy shit

Congratulations! I have HD cable and internet and pay >$120 a month. Post-Ted I watch television no more than a couple of hours a week. Perhaps I should follow your example and save some moolah, as my Television has become nothing more than a monitor for console games and dvd's.

Cheers,

Cory

the ability to catch most of this stuff online, makes it easy. i watched heroes online, and never on tv til the very end. you can rent tv seasons from netflix or itunes or whatever. it's just a lot cheaper in the long run.

it'll be interesting to see how it changes my habits. good news is that I have a Tivo in my bedroom with about 10 hours of programs on it... ha!

That's crazy - next thing you know you'll be using a telegraph and hunting for your own food! Man is just not made to weather well under those conditions!

YAY for you, btw. :)

Congrats and imagine all the money you are saving! That'll add up quickly.

I want to get rid of my DirectTV but I just started a 2 year contract about 6 months ago.... so... can't do it just yet.
