Was woken up early this morning by an employee calling in sick. I think it's kinda cute really - my employees calling me almost daily at this time a year with colds... I'd probably respect them more if they just said "Brian, I have 5 sick days left and I want to use a few of 'em before the end of the year and we're so slow right now I figured it

It can wear you out and I tend to lose my patience as the night progresses. Working only once a week helps me to avoid losing my cool though. I always have six days to recover from that one night of being the ringmaster...

I've gone through stages where I'm like "fuck 'em if they don't get me" but in doing so I've missed out on knowing some pretty exceptional people. As I've grown away from that attitude the quality of my relationships have grown as well. I still think I have a ways to go.

We had a red VW Bus when I was a kid and our friends had a Blue one. I always thought of our VW Bus as Alice and that riding in their blue one was like being with Kay.

I'm glad you hung on through the initial stages of getting to know me. I like to think that it pays off.

Wellll.. I can't say much because the first time I met you, we were in a hot tub, at one of Brian's parties, and I hit you in the head with a watergun. Obviously first impressions can't be measured with my stupidity.
