I remember this!
Do you remember an Xmas special in the late 70's about tall, skinny aliens (human-like) coming to earth & running into some kids?
I don't recall the name or year but I do remember some of the visuals (that still haunt me to this day).

You know, that sorta sounds familiar but I can't quite picture it in my head. What really stayed with me in this one is the scene where the younger mouse is trying to discover what lies at the end of infinity... It was so odd to see it again after all these years.
