If you're down with such things... there's new news on The Wiki about one of my fav games.  I didn't even realize that the 80s version comes out next week.  Woo Hoo!  The GH3 page has been updated with screen shots of the legit wireless controllers for Wii and other platforms...

Ahhhh yeah. The 80s version is on pre-order with Red Octane, and I'm digging the Xbox 360 version quite a bit lately...

Right now my panties are in a bunch for Rock Band http://xbox360.ign.com/objects/879/879549.html. I mean seriously drums, vocals, bass, and lead guitar...not to mention freestlyen, tambourine, online play! Guitar Hero I love thee but Rock
Band may be taking your place...I promise to still call though.

yeah, people keep bringing the Rock Band to me and it's pretty neat n' all.. but come on, who wants to throw down money for all of those pricey looking components? I think if I was a college kid living in the dorms I'd be all about it... but for me, I'll just roll with G3 and G80s...

Rumor has it that the Guitar Hero controller works with Rock Band for the Bass and Guitar. I'm figuring the drums will be steep but since it comes packed with a rotating drum cage for duplication of Tommy Lee's Wild Side video I figure its not too bad. Anyhow as a man who likes to hit the skins on the regular just being able to simulate the experience in game is worth it to me. Just hoping my buddies bring their own equipment.
