I recently inherited a good deal of old kit, including a Super 8 movie camera, a S8 projector, and a couple cans of home movies shot between when I was 1 and 2 years old.
There was some old (let's just say my dad had written "frozen 11/83" on the box in sharpie) ektachrome film stock that came with it, only a few cartridges but enough to play with. There's no telling what it will do, of course.. best case scenario: it looks like it's been bathtub processed. Worst case: I don't even know, probably a sad note from the processor.
Dad also gave me his slide projector, so I won't be spending my days hunched over a light table with a loupe.
