Okay, so a huge part of Kojiro's characterization comes from the existence of a rival for him to obsess over.

Anyone of differing ideals up for filling that position?

Would a clone suffice?

That could work, yes.

My plans at some point far down the line is to have Figaro just get fucking taken down. At this point, Edgar the king goes into hiding while the muse get's a chance to rest. When that's done, Gerad the bandit chief reappears and reactivates Figaro Castle. Thus the heroic rebirth of Figaro.

So what I need is someone suitably crazy and evil to take down Figaro (again, not soon), and other people who just want to be involved.

Crazy? Check. Evil? Big check. Has made it his hobby to mess with Figaro? Yep. I think we have a winner!

Void wants to finish off Wodan, and we need a few villains for two different logs before that can happen. First, Wodan's gonna give Sanger his MID-SEASON UPGRADE, by which I mean a shiny new sword. To trigger that, somebody needs to troll Sanger and break his current one in a one-on-one battle, then be repelled when he and Wodan make the trade. Circumstances can be absolutely anything.

A while after that, Sanger and Wodan need to meet as enemies again while something epic is going down (I have a half-baked plan to provide the backdrop myself with Clan Dragmire). Basically all we need is for them to bring their rivalry to a conclusion and both of them cleave the living shit out of one big scary bad guy type each. People who don't mind permadying would be really nice, but basically the idea is that Wodan goes out in a blaze of glory and dies from his battle wounds.

Not exactly a scene, but I want Guy to lose his ring and lantern at some point, so he can go on walkabout for a replacement, find out that he's a distant descendant of a now-extinct youkai race, thereby gain shapeshifting powers and lose the brain damage. He'll still be an ornery cuss, but it'll be by choice and he'll know when to knock it off! Also able to shapeshift his limbs into weapons. I'd also like him to eventually reclaim the ring and lantern after that, though. (Which will probably overwrite the shapeshifting like it did in canon.)

As for the ring/lantern itself, it's ~*magic*~ FROM SPAAAACE. It's also kind of sort of a little bit evil. It's basically asleep at the moment, but has been known in canon to try and control its wielders and while this wouldn't be a problem for Guy with his excessive willpower, it could be a problem for anybody who takes/steals it. (And would be a great reason for Guy reclaiming it when the time comes.)

I dunno... I guess it'd be pretty awesome to re-enact Kenpachi vs. Tousen. Basically...

"I have a strange gimmick in my fighting style that makes you UNABLE TO DETECT AND/OR HIT ME FOR SOME REASON"

"Okay then I guess I'll just let you FUCKING STAB ME IN THE GUT JUST SO I CAN GRAB YOU"

"HOLY SHIT YOU'RE CRAZY MAN"

Yeah. That's about all.
