creature that should look familiar to some people wandering among some rubble, darting with quick movements from place to place. At the top of a heap of broken wall, it pauses, antennae quivering a bit, as if listening for something. There are footsteps from down the hall, and from their frequency it sounds like someone running.]

[awkward is an understatement. He switches his weight to his other foot and mirrors that gesture before he realizes what he's doing.]

[the boy stares for a moment; from his puzzled reaction, he's probably new. Finally, he realizes that his mouth is hanging open and shuts it hastily]

[which doesn't...really help at all. His pale face turns a little red in embarrassment.]
