I recently finished the second draft of my fourth Uther story. Four! That's big for me. I have never written four things about anything. Here are some statistics:

3 of 4 stories: ~13,000 words
1 of 4 stories: ~2,000 words
3 of 4 stories: Drama/tragedy
1 of 4 stories: Comedy
2 of 4 stories: Uther has a love interest and Morgana barely figures

Thanks! I'll post the last one here when it's out of beta because it ended up being almost entirely about Uther and Morgause fighting over Morgana (gen, but I think that's kosher?).

Yeah, "tragic hero" pretty much sums up how I like my Uther. Eternally flapping towards the sun and then crashing back down to earth. LOL

To update: I have currently posted two comedies and two dramas. Comedy #2 is a random bit of crack I needed to get out of my system (it still doesn't end happily for Uther, haha). Drama #3 (from this prompt: http://kinkme-merlin.livejournal.com/23407.html?thread=23584111#t23584111) will be posted in a few days. I counted it above because I thought it would be done as quickly as the others, but now it's much longer and much better after a thorough beta.

And two more in the pipeline!
