Having Thursdays off gave Ron plenty of time to get most of his work done. Having Fridays off gave him plenty of time to do nothing. Doing nothing actually took a lot more effort than you would think (

"Don't do it again!" Neville called after the three mischevious boys as they ran in the opposite direction. He shook his head and sighed.
Little did he expect to see Ron standing there as he turned the corner. "Woah!" he said, nearly stumbling into the carrot top. "Oh, hey Ron!"

Ron laughed and took a step back so he didn't smack right into Neville. "Hey, mate," he shook his head and shoved his hands in his pockets.
"What'd you catch this time?"

Neville rolled his eyes and shook his head a bit, letting out an impatient laugh. "Two 2nd Years trying to sabotage one of the statues."
He took a step back for a moment and looked around the corner to check if the boys were there again, but no one was in sight.
