Quick question for those who know this sort of thing: what's a decent new graphics card to get?

I have a Radeon HD 7770, which gives me very nice, smooth graphics. My brother sent me this link, comparing what I have with his:

Further information: I don't need to be able to play with the graphics on their super highest setting, since highly detailed graphics makes it more likely that I'll feel seasick. But what I DO need is no jerkiness in the movement. Jerkiness and visible flickering will make me seasick within minutes.

A GTX 1060 would do you nicely. Newer than a 970, faster and (usually) cheaper. See comparison chart here: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html .

Alternatively, if you want to delay the next upgrade by as long as possible, it might be worth considering a 1070, which is the choice I made.
