Her conduct was unprofessional but honestly? I agree with what she said.

Ah, I don't think you're totally familiar with the backstory here.

For one thing, she's overstating the problems rioting on campus. It never happened after "every game, win or lose;" it happened after big games, and it mostly started happening regularly after all the south campus 18+over bars disappeared. That doesn't justify rioting, but it suggests to me that it was both predictable and avoidable(for one thing, I predicted it. Ask anyone who knew me in 1999.)

For another thing, she makes it sound like she was a lone voice in the wilderness and prior administration had been totally okay with weekly riots, which is not true. Brit Kirwan, her predecessor, tried to take fairly draconian measures against the rioters too, just for example.

Lastly, she understates her objections to football culture. Her first game as president, she sent out an email asking that students refrain from wearing t-shirts with obscene slogans on them. I mean, come on. I'm not fond of the steakhead cretins who frequent OSU tailgates, but their fucking
