The moral of the story: even professional critics have no objective basis of criticism. I mean, it's not surprising that tastes are subjective or anything, but it's a bit surprising that they're so widely varied.

In this case I think you'd be justified in ignoring the complainers, since they are clearly not in your intended audience. So, congratulations on a successful show!
