Wow- BroadwayWorld editor on the ball today- EATfest B, EATfest C. I went kinda overboard on the photos.

Posted on GlorysList looking for an Equity Monitor for the callbacks, and already have someone who's interested! ..and who apparently isn't Equity. I guess I should have been even more specific. Argh.

reviews, equity, broadwayworld

I saw your ad, and you might want to think of offering something in the way of compensation. It is my understanding that Equity peeps like to be PAID in some way.

Forgot to tell you on Saturday...

Not only was one of the directors locked out with me in the hallway ("Still out here. :("), but also one of the judges!
She got there the same time I did. We waited for a bit, and she left after a few minutes.

We were all so upset that the door wasn't monitored AT ALL.

Yikes.

Yup.
When she and I got to the door, the director was standing there upset that the door was locked at 5 after.
She said who she was, waited for a bit, then left.

The director and I chatted a little, and he was very upset that he lost a judge to see his one act.

Oh, probably a judge for the NYIT awards. Well, serves her right for showing up late.

I'm not sure why you need an Equity monitor...?

I've auditioned for showcase-level Equity projects in the past and they've never had an Equity monitor to my knowledge, at auditions or callbacks.

I thought it was only if you hold an audition in the EPA format.

I could be wrong though.
