Want this shirt.

Although I don't like the fact that in ALW's Sunset Boulevard "Surrender" and "The Lady's Paying" have the same melody except one's in 3/4 and the other's in 4/4, I do like it in "A Perfect Year" when Norma's singing in 3/4 (aside from a brief dip into 4/4), and then Joe takes up the song in 4/4 as a more cautious tango, because ( Read more... )

I personally enjoy the fact that The Lady's Paying and Eternal Youth are the same song with different lyrics. It adds a great juxtaposition to the character for me.

Yeah, that's nice, since they're both makeover numbers.

Though of course it lacks the punch of Evita, with the embalmers swooping in singing "Rainbow High".

That shirt is awesome. But since they don't have it in my size, I'm totally making it an icon instead.

I don't know if this is your cuppa, but the studio store's got a few music books in right now, including High School Musical and Hannah Montana. Not fake books, but music and lyrics. Any interest?
