If we turn these in early, do you want them on your desk, with your TA, in your mailbox?

Any of those three are fine, thank you. Well done for it being early though, if that is the case.

I try to get things done before deadline if I can. I probably could have had it done a while ago if all my other courses weren't demanding the same thing or more.

If more students took up your philosophy, then there would be less need for extra credit.

Are we going to talk about the structure of the exam in class?

Do you think we need to?

It would be helpful, so we aren't surprised when we look at it and can focus on answering the questions instead.

But there's nothing in that exam that I haven't already taught you.

Sometimes I look back on the decision to teach history at the high school level and kick myself.

[ooc: All right to assume Dawn and Ianto know each other, at least peripherally? She spends a lot of her very rare free time hanging around and bothering Wesley, so he might have seen her around. Or they can know each other better, whatever you feel like.]

Sometimes I feel the opposite is true, though.

[ooc: That makes sense~ Or maybe they were in college themselves learning History at the same time?]

Wesley was just telling me he can fail students who refuse to attend his class without their parents descending en masse to try and yell at him until the grade is a passing one. Then again, Wesley likes to tease me a lot.

[ooc: That sounds awesome.]

I make it a point to let it be known to all students who sign up that less than 70% attendance equates to a fail. Then when parents descend, I wave the little piece of paper saying so in their faces.

But I do wish I had his talent that they wouldn't do so at all.

[ooc: Harsh prof Ianto is harsh.]

Brutal as always, Professor Jones.

It gets the desired results, Mr. Brooks.

If the desired result is to strike terror into the hearts of unsuspecting freshmen.

I'm nice to the freshmen.

How many of them actually listen this semester?

[OOC: History grad student and TA. Hi!]

Surprisingly more than last semester, actually.

[ooc: Hiya! *Waves*]

So there's hope I might have competent help next year if any of them apply for graduate studies. Good to know.

There are definitely a few that'll be a great asset to you.
