Thank you so much for this update my dear kin. I love all the build up and I hope they will be able to pick up where they left off without repeating past mistakes... Hugs V.
I just adore the way you write, Kin, and the imagery you use:
"...the fellowship of ghosts that had accompanied his memories the past year provided ample motivation not to flee."
"The cracks in their relationship had widened to the point that a simple patch and paint wouldn’t suffice." Both lovely phrasing.:)
And the "hanging Chad" reference - LOL! Did you name the boyfriend that just so you could use that phrase? Either way, that was so funny - loved it! I could definitely see Brian saying that.
Can't wait to read the next part of their sparring match! Oh, and BTW, was the scene where Justin was in the bar from one of Randy's movies? Don't think it was from QAF.
Thanks for the update! Really enjoying your story. *Hugs* ~Kim
Thank you, Kim! I'm thrilled that you liked this chapter (and that you're still reading the fic *g*) I truly think I have to stop obsessing over every sentence I write! LOL! Yep, I purposefully named him Chad to fit that in. I had Brian's face and inflection in my head the whole time! The pic w/Justin in the bar is a manip of 507, a screenshot from a movie, and a photo of McSorley's. That manip gave me a lot of trouble, I have to say!

*g* Thanks, hon! I ended part one where I did because if I couldn't continue, I felt that, at least, it was a halfway good ending (no pun intended). I'm so thrilled you enjoyed this latest chapter. I think Brian might be growing up just a little. *g*
I only realized I had missed a chapter when I saw you had posted part 2. Probably LJ not sending me notifications again. It's happening so often for me lately.
At least they are talking. Here's hoping it does some good.
They looked at everyone and everything except each other, pretending they didn’t notice or feel the connection.
"LJ not sending me notifications again." *sigh* I hear you! Sometimes I just want to smack both of them! *g* Thanks so much for reading, Lyn! I'm so thrilled you're enjoying it!
