barnstable county fair pics had a great time today -
lutetia8 and i got 6 caches (though one is up for debate as it was wedged under a small boulder that had rolled over on top of the cache) then i headed to the fair. not much has changed, but i imagine most things don't change at a county fair

essentially, it's a high-teck treasure hunt.
somone hides a 'cache' (box of items, usually junk, usually in something air and water tight (tupperware, ammo boxes)) and then posts the coordinates on the geocaching.com webpage. then people grab those coordinates put them into a GPS receiver in order to find that cache.
yeah, we're using million dollar satellite equipment to find hidden boxes of tupperware in the woods.
geeky, eh? for me, i'm thoroughly addicted and have been for almost three years now - there are caches all over ther world (lexington has about 150 or so of them (give or take))

shakes, definitely. i love ice cream.
del's frozen lemonade was a staple of my childhood - i could only get it at the fair - and it tasted as awesome as i remembered =)
